The Chicago Cardigan Coat - Marigold

I wanted a cardigan in marigold for a long time, but it was usually out of stock in the right size. Finally! The timing was perfect and now it’s mine! I love everything about the cardigan, it’s perfect for spring in Wisconsin. It’s warm without being too hot, the fabric and lining are so soft and comfy. The styling is timeless. I wear a 1x and it’s perfect, I can comfortably wear a sweater and blouse under the coat. This is my third coat from The Checkroom, I also have The Lasalle Parka in green and The Southport in Caramel and always get compliments when I’m wearing them. The dry cleaners recently commented on how well made my Southport is. It feels good to support a small business and have some timeless quality pieces to wear. Thank you, Liz!

I love wearing bright colors in the winter, and this marigold color is stunning. I feel so elegant every time I wear this coat. The material is soft and warm and the lining is lovely. Best of all, it's warm without being hot. Perfect for uncertain weather in the Chicago spring or for winter in the sunny south. I ordered a medium so I would have plenty of room to layer underneath--the coat also works well as a single warm layer. Take advantage of this sale, you'll be glad you did!

So happy to finally have my own timeless piece from Checkroom! This cardigan coat is thoughtfully designed and beautifully made.
