Q - My size is not in stock. Do I really need to wait to have a coat made for me? What if I don't like it? I will feel really bad returning a coat that was made just for me.

A - First of all, you are going to love your coat! And if you don't, you can return or exchange it guilt-free, using one of our free return labels.

By only making what is ordered, I can bring you a better quality coat while creating less waste. For that reason, it is actually LESS wasteful to make our coats on demand as opposed to carrying a heavy inventory of in stock coats at all times.

If your coat does not work out for you, please keep it in its original condition, so that it can find another home. I do not dispose of returns or sell them to discount chains. All of our return/ exchange coats are re-sold on this website.

Q -Can I have my coat made to my size measurements?

A - If you are a petite or plus size individual struggling to find a coat that fits your frame, please reach out to me. Many of my patterns can be adjusted to fit your size. However, this will make your coat non-refundable and not eligible for a return or exchange.

A -  If you find that you are close to our standard size (but a few measurements are off, please reach out to me and I can send you the exact spec for the coat and point you in the right direction. You can always work with your local tailor to fine-tune the fit of your coat.

Q - Where can I try things on?

A- If you are local, you can also make an appointment to come to my studio or attend a local trunk show or event. Please subscribe to my newsletter for more information about these events.

If you are trying to decide between 2 colors or 2 sizes, please reach out to me and we can make arrangements so that you can try both!

Q - I have really long arms, should I size up in order to get the length I need?

A - The length of our coats in both the sleeve and hem length stay fairly consistent between sizes XS-XL.

Our standard size fit model (me!) is 5'10" tall, so our sleeve lengths are cut a bit longer than most brands in XS-XL.

Our size XXS and 1X are cut slightly shorter in their length.

Q - I'm going to be wearing a sweater under my coat, do I need to size up?

A - All of our coats are cut to accommodate a sweater of medium thickness. If you know that you prefer to layer over thick hoodies or blazers, then I would suggest sizing up. Our coats run fairly true to size, so your best bet is to order the size that you wear most often.

Q - Do you ever run sales?

A - Yes! Please join our email list for the latest information on sales, new releases, and giveaways! It is very hard for me as a small business owner to discount my items often, but I do my best to offer little treats along the way!
