Shipping policy

 

$20 SHIPPING within the 50 United States via UPS Ground
  • The Checkroom ships within the 50 United States for a flat fee of $20 using UPS Ground.
  • For all other countries or expedited shipping for "in stock" items, please see our shipping rates at checkout.
  • If you prefer USPS or another carrier other than UPS, please contact us.
  • "In stock" items ship in 2-3 business days
  • "Made on Demand " items will require 3-5 weeks for production and will ship as soon as they are available
  • "Pre-order" items arrive will arrive as close to their anticipated arrival date as possible. See dates at the product level.

FREE SHIPPING ON RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
  • The Checkroom will accept returns and/or exchanges within 30 days of the date on which your order has arrived as long as the item remains in its original condition.
  • The Checkroom does not accept returns or exchanges for items purchased from a retailer other than coatcheckroom.com.
  • To request a return or exchange, please email liz@coatcheckchicago.com with your order number and details. We will then email you a FREE return shipping label.  Please use your original box and packaging if possible.
  • All returned merchandise must be received by The Checkroom in its original condition, not having been worn or altered.
  • Returned items that are damaged or altered will not be accepted.
  • We will send you an e-mail notification once your return is received and approved to be in good condition. If you are approved for a return/exchange, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 5 business days.

  •  We do not refund your initial shipping costs unless an item arrives damaged or defective. However, we will provide you with a free shipping label for all subsequent exchanges or returns associated with your original order.
